Vision Africa

Vision Africa History

In 1999, during a time when marketing research was still in its infancy in Namibia; Vision Africa was established.

Jurgen Brandt, together with Tony and Jeanette Hoft, came up with the idea of creating a stakeholder and product research agency.  This agency would meet the information needs of local, regional and international clients.

With their vast corporate experience, Vision Africa became a leader in the market research field. They pioneered by conducting marketing research in Angola and by introducing the use of technology in marketing research reliable to Namibia and surrounding countries.

In 2008, Tony and Jeanette sold Vision Africa to a Namibian consortium. It was however, important for them to ensure the company remains stable under new management and so appointed Cornelius D’Alton as the General Manager of the business during the transition. Cornelius had a successful track record in the corporate environment with more than 13 years’ experience in senior and general management positions within sales, marketing research, product development, customer service and financial management in the financial industry.

Along with Liza Burmeister, who remained with the company as Account Director for several years. Vision Africa continued to build on the momentum established and sought business opportunities in neighbouring countries were it had not yet been represented.

Over the past few years Vision Africa has cemented its footprint in the neighbouring countries of Angola, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe and continues to establish itself as an affordable and reliable service provider to regional and international clients and research agencies.

Still under the leadership of Cornelius and now with Laban Malule supporting him as Operations Managers the future of the company looks bright.
